Round One Kit · in development
A marble run you understand.
Every module is a piece of mechanics you can see, follow and print yourself. Five rules make them all fit together.
The system
Five rules. Every module fits every other.
The base plate carries a 50 mm grid of slots. Posts drop into the slots, arms hook into the posts, modules drop onto the arms from above. Nothing is glued, nothing is screwed, every module lifts out on its own.
- Rule 1One grid50 mm, every slot has its name next to it.
- Rule 2One jointA double dovetail under every module, a pocket on every arm.
- Rule 3One slope5 % downhill, 5 mm per grid step, so heights always add up.
- Rule 4One step down0.4 mm at every joint, the marble never climbs.
- Rule 5Two machinesEverything prints in 300 x 200 x 200 mm or comes off a laser in 4 mm sheet.
Modules
No magic. Every part shows what it does.
L4 · Screw lift Lifts up to one marble per second, 410 mm high. Three identical printed screw segments on one shaft, turned by one stepper motor. Two acrylic rails guide the marble up the thread.
W4 · Switch No power. Each marble flips the tongue. The marble pushes the tongue to one side as it passes and leaves it there. The next marble takes the other lane and pushes it back.
KS6 · Impact row One marble strikes, the front one rolls on. Five marbles rest in a hollow between two acrylic rails. The arriving marble hits the row, the last one leaves over the lip. Ramp, hollow, lip.
The kit
Round One. Two ways to get it.
256 slots, 15 posts, 44 arms, 42 modules, 1 lift. Over 8 m of track, 410 mm of lift, one motor.

Making of
Built in CAD. Tested in a physics simulation. Printed next.
Every module exists as a parametric model. The marble in the film follows a simulated run, 62 hours of rendering. The first test series on real printers and lasers starts now, and the kit changes where the tests say so.
